The Elephant Pants Rebrand
Art Direction, Branding Design

The Elephant Pants is an apparel company that donates a portion of profits to various elephant sanctuaries and conservation programs. Its previous branding was inconsistent, poorly designed, and did not reflect our target audience of females, aged 18-24.

I created a new logo and brand design guidelines for typography, color, brand values, and voice. I managed the rebrand initiative and ensured it was properly applied to all collateral from packaging to digital.

The key feature of the logo mark–a heart–forms the ear of ‘Ellie’, the persona of our logo and brand. This symbol serves as a reminder that our company is built on love and compassion for animals, our community, and our environment.

The new identity was a success, reaping overwhelmingly positive feedback on social media channels as well as increased revenue and traffic. The company gained momentum, eventually appearing on ABC's Shark Tank and striking a deal!

We were now in a position to create branded swag using our new logo mark. These designs became some of our best sellers on our eCommerce site.
